GIVE WITH LOVE

JOHN  3:16

 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

MEDITATION 

We can give without loving but we cannot love without giving. Giving should not be done with the intention of putting the receiver in "PRISON OF GRATITUDE' or "YOU OWE ME". Giving should be borne out of sincere love for God and humanity.

Nobody owes anybody any favour. There's nothing we have that was not given to us. Let's do everything we are supposed to do for anyone when it's in our power to do so regardless of whatever had transpired in the past. Give with unconditional love.

If we give with the mindset of getting something back in return sooner of later, that's transaction; if we give so as to be rewarded, that's service but if we give as a moral responsibility, that's virtue. Giving is a virtue not a service nor transaction.

Let's emulate Christ.  Give as a commandment, responsibility and virtue. Let's radiate love wherever and whenever necessary.

Give with love.

Father, help us to emulate your example of love in giving in Jesus name
