YE THAT MAKE MENTION OF THE LORD

ISAIAH  62:6-7

 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: YE THAT MAKE MENTION OF THE LORD, keep not silence,  62:7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. 

MEDITATION

They are a people which the Bible calls YE THAT MAKE MENTION OF THE LORD.  Are you among them? If you are, be reminded that though you are in this world, we are not of this world. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar nation, the church of the first born, the apple of God's eyes etc

If you are making mention of the Lord, stop thinking and living like those that are making mention of the world. You have the mind of Christ; think, talk and live like the Lord you make mentioned of.

Be holy like God, intentional like Jotham, consistent like Enoch, faithful like Abraham, tireless like Isaac, creative like Jacob, prayerful like Elijah, resilient like Job, joyous like David, wise like the serpent, excellent like Daniel, served selflessly like Anna, laboured more than them all like Paul and love like Christ. If nothing is done, nothing will come.

Don't be envious of the world nor the people in the world. Your covenant and destination are different. Don't just be a child of God, be a beloved child of God after the order of Christ.

Love the Lord wholeheartedly; fear the Lord and keep his commandments; and ye that mention the Lord, shall be mentioned by the Lord to your world.

AFFIRMATION

I make mention of the Lord. I am preferred above all.

 PRAYERS 

Father I received grace to think, talk and live like you in Jesus name, amen.
