LUKE.2.37

MEDITATION

There are two categories of worshippers: those who put God and the kingdom first and those who put themselves and their expectations and petitions first. Wherever you put God is where you are.

Fasting should not just be a spiritual weapon but a spiritual lifestyle and service. We must cultivate a lifestyle and service of living for the kingdom of God and it's righteousness above every other thing.

Loyalty in the words of Job is "WHILE HE SLAY ME YET WILL I TRUST HIM"  and John the Baptist said " THAT I MAY DECREASE THAT HE MIGHT INCREASE"

Dont serve God for things; serve God for love.

AFFIRMATION

I love God.. Matthew 6:33 is my creed.

PRAYERS

Father give me courage to live to please you at all times in Jesus name.

Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.  20:3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

MEDITATION

It's good to take the mountains alone like Caleb; It's better to win together like Moses, Aaron & Hur; but it's best to hand it over to God in fasting, let God take the glory, you take the victory and profit like Jehoshaphat.

Horse is for battle but victory remains with the Lord. Whenever an opposition stirs up fear in you, don't run from them; run to the Almighty God. He's mightier than the mightiest.

When you fight on your knees, what fears God start fearing you. It's profiting to  allow God to fight for you.

Whenever fear intimidates you, you can choose to Forget Everything And Run or Faith Everything And Rise.

Hand it over to  Man of war. You are more than a conqueror.

EZRA.8.21 

And there by the Ahava Canal, I gave orders for all of us to fast and humble ourselves before our God. We prayed that he would give us a safe journey and protect us, our children, and our goods as we traveled. (NLT)

MEDITATION

Natural security is good but not guaranteed. If the threat is stronger, human security becomes vunerable and greatly limited. Only God is an ever present help 

Don't be a 911 child of God. Seeking God's supernatural protection in addition to human security is wisdom.

No threat or fear is beyond the control of the Almighty. He's a Mighty man of war. Heaven is loaded with legions of angels waiting to go offensive or defensive as the earth may demand. But they can only respond to those who can stir the spiritual to provoke such intervention through prayer and fasting.

Supernatural protection is always available. Give God first place in your plan and He will give you first class treatment. Prayer and fasting secures.

MEDITATION

Everything great and small has a price tag. To thread the path of spiritual power and fame, prayer and fasting is a price we all must pay to recharge and be empowered to cross the bridge of commonality to personality. 

It is an incubator and a power booster. A spiritual recharge station. Fasting enhances a power recharge that will manifest with clear cut glory, honor and proofs. It's not limited to Christianity. It's a principal course in the school of spiritual growth and development.

To come into power and fame after the order of Christ, prayer and fasting is the path to take. Follow example and you will never fail examination.

Fast and pray!

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

MEDITATION

Prayers are like gears of a vehicle. There's no one fit it all prayer for all situations. Just like gear selection, different prayers are needed to be selected and use to move, climb hill, speed up and reverse issues in life. There's also gear for difficult terrain and to lift out of impossible situations. It's called auxiliary gear.

Prayers put life and destiny in motion. But there are situations that will arise in life that you will need to move from prayer gears to auxiliary gear to move the situation or come out of it. It is called fasting. Fasting is the auxiliary gear of prayers. 

Whenever you fall into a difficult terrain in life that seems impossible to overcome. Don't just pray and dont give up; engage the auxiliary gear of fasting. 

What prayer alone cannot do, prayer and fasting will do with ease.

AFFIRMATION

I drive destiny utility vehicle. I pray and fast.

COLOSSIANS 4:12  

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.   

MEDITATION

The labour ward is always full of agony and groans. These are not pains of sorrow but of purpose and expectations.

Prayer is a very expensive investment. The price for it success is very high but the sacrifice is worth every investment. It entails a lot of discipline, diligence and sacrifice. It is equated with labour pains.

Epaphras laboured fervently in prayers says Paul. What does prayer labour entails?

To pray according to the will of God, we must labour in the word; to pray and hit, we must labour in faith and to pray fervently, we must labour on our knees.

Prayers are not done as convenient. It comes with a high price of labour. Until Zion travailed, she never prevailed. If we want to prevail, we must be ready to travail. No price is too high for success in prayers. Get ready for the labour room.

JAMES  5:17 

Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

MEDITATION

Prayer is invoking and provoking the blessings of God upon our lives and revoking the curses of life and Satan against our lives. Blessings, curses, covenants, spells, enchantments, divination, libations, invocation, sorcery, incantations, conjurations, bewitchment,, necromancy, voodooism, di​a​ble​rie etc. are all prayer forces used by kingdom of God and or  the devil.

Everything is at a state of rest until a force is applied. If nothing is done, nothing will change and God will do nothing. Prayer is the spiritual force that moves all things in the spiritual realm  

While all things need the enforcement of prayer to move some needs the reinforcement of fasting in addition to prayers to move. 

Carnality is a risk. Prayerlessness is spiritual suicide. Challenges of life should not be taken lightly. It should concern us more than God.

Be prayer responsible. Whatever we don't enforce has our permission to stay or leave. Join prayer force today.

MEDITATION

The duration of personal prayers is not a function of prayer points but intimate sweet fellowship with the Holy spirit. 

Moses was on the mount with God for fourty days and night twice; David prayed evening, morning and afternoon and Jesus continued in prayer all night. The question is, how did they managed to stay this long in God's presence ?

When you are gisting with whom you love, gist no dey finished. How close you are with anyone determines how long you tarry with the person.

Prayer is not a gift nor wish nor prophecy nor fruit of the spirit but taking sonship responsibility; and you master whatever you do frequently. How frequent you see someone generates intimacy and how intimate you are with someone determines how long you tarry with him. Sonship is not enough. We must be on a good and regular talking terms with our father. A visitor and stranger cannot tarry long in his presence.

Commitment to continuous fellowship will generate passion and intimacy to tarry long in His presence.

AFFIRMATION

Faith is the trust the child have in the father that what he needs the father is able to provide. It is the wing that every prayer rides on to meet God without which the prayer is grounded.

It's the prayer of faith that is answered  not prayer of sense, fear or unbelief.

Prayer of faith is praying believing that God is a good father that loves his children and will not close his ears to their needs.

When we believe God, we will receive good.

Living is a cycle of prayer and we shouldn't allow feelings to decide whether we pray or not but in all situation and circumstances we must NEVER STOP PRAYING.

Whenever In joy, rejoice; When touched by God, give thanks; When In need, supplicate; When afflicted, petition; When attacked, take authority; When a friend is in need, intercede.

Don't complain; resist quarrelling; overcome offense; run from grumbling;  pray continually.

Make life a cycle of prayers.

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

MEDITATION

The lost son did not loose his sonship but he lost his life, connection and immunity. You can be a child of God but lost and dead to good because you are no longer in touch with your father.

You cannot backslide and be lost in sin and carnality and still be connected to God in prayer. Only the prayer of a repented sinner is acceptable unto God.

Backsliding automatically disconnect us from heavens coverage of protection, preservation and provision and makes our prayers an abomination before God. It exposes us to danger and defeat.

When we are dead and lost, our prayers are dead and lost, but when we repent and pray, our prayers are alive and answered.

Stay connected.

Altar of prayer is an altar of enforcement. Since prayer is a communication between a son and His father, you have the powers of sonship to receive your expectations and enforce your rights.

At the altar of prayer, Whatever we asked, we receive;  Whatever is delayed, we take; what the devil steal, we recover;  what Ignorance hides, we uncover; what sin corrupt, we renew; what circumstances delays, we enforce.

Sons don't beg for their inheritance, they ask. If there's an intruder on their rights, they take action.

To be a son and shy away from responsibility of enforcement means you don't know your powers and rights. Stop living in error.

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

MEDITATION

Delay means what is expected is big, relevant and precious that's why it's obstructed by the devil. It's called enviable blessings.

When God answers prayers, we receive the answers; when the devil resist our answers, we take our answers.

Delay of answers to prayer does not mean God has not answered instead the devil is at work. Solution is not to give up but be faith filled like Abraham, resilient like Joseph, worship like Job, behave wisely like David and tarry on the altar like Daniel.

Don't give up instead go up with prayer and thanksgiving and forcefully take delivery of your testimony.

Don't give up on God, don't give up on yourself; go up and take what belongs to you.

ISAIAH  41:21 

Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.

MEDITATION

God cannot lie; God cannot fail and God cannot change. The variable factor has always been man.

Do you have a strong reason why God should be committed to what He said to you and answer your prayers, He's saying " BRING YOUR STRONG REASON NOW"

Fearful men remind themselves of what the devil, men and circumstances say;

Casual men complain about their problem;

Carnal men try to solve their problem with their strength;

Church goers remind God of his promises;

Faithful men remind God of their faithful services and sacrifices. Remember Hezekiah.

There's always something to be done by us for answers to prayers to be activated. God is not a promise keeper but a covenant keeper. Until our part is complete, He's not committed.

Put your strong reason on the altar now and let it go before God as a sweet smelling savour.

This is God's answer challenge to us.

LEVITICUS  10:1  

And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

MEDITATION

The same altar consumes sacrifices to God also consumed people. Altars and priesthood are sacred places and offices and all things must be done  decently and orderly as commanded not as convenient. Being a priest and an altar must be handled with care and obedience. Caution!

Some altar are fireful and powerless because the altar fire has been corrupted by the quality of services and sacrifices and attitude of the priest. Our God is a God of decency and order.

Aaron children offered strange fire and the altar consumed them;

Eli's children were called sons of Belial because they desecrated the Lord's offering and died carrying the ark of God;;

Uzah died carrying the ark of God as convenient not as commanded;

Merciful God is also a Consuming fire. Caution!

When we don't pray in obedience and fear of the Lord, we pray and missed.

AFFIRMATION

I serve faithfully and sacrifice as instructed. I am under authority.

And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.

MEDITATION

An altar is a transmitter of spiritual transactions of prayers, services and sacrifices

A defiled, broken or neglected altars are an abomination before the Lord. Spiritual and transactions on them will never be transmitted.

If prayer altar that has been defiled by sin; broken by rebellion, abandoned by laziness or neglected by idolatry, there's need for genuine repentance and humility before any spiritual transaction is conducted there in. Repentance and obedience precedes salvation, breakthrough and restoration. 

A repented and humbled heart the Lord cannot resist. Repair your altar now with true humility and repentance. 

AFFIRMATION

 I am humbled and broken. My spiritual transactions are a sweet smelling savour. 

PRAYERS

Father in Jesus name,  create in me a broken and a contrite spirit.

FASTING ALERT!

MATTHEW  17:21  

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

MEDITATION

Fasting is denying ourself certain necessities, convenience and pleasure to focus on generating fervency and more spiritual energy. Its a spiritual value added service to combat and overcome a stubborn issue of concern.  What prayer alone cannot do, prayer with fasting will do. Everything of value has a  price including spirituality. . 

Different people fast for different reason, season and purpose. King David fasted as a spiritual maintenance routine;  the widow at the temple fasted as a normal spiritual service; Cornelius fasted as a special spiritual recharge service; Esther fasted as a special intervention approach; and  King Darius fasted as a means of mourning. Whatever be the reason,  let every fasting be done with humility, focus and purpose less it becomes hunger strike.

Any child of God that does not fast is either fake, expired, useless or outdated. Spirituality comes with high level of responsibility. Spiritual redundancy is a curse.

If you are too big to fast, you will be too cheap to trash and if you are too busy to fast, you will too easy to trap.To sit at ease is a curse; to be normal is a risk; to be fervent is power!

Pray, also fast!

THE PRIEST AND THE ALTAR

LEVITICUS  6:12

 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings. 

MEDITATION

When God renewed his relationship with man after the fall, He started with an altar, then to tents and finally as temples which we are. Summarily we are all altars and priests. 

As altars, it's expected that our incense and sacrifices comes before God as a sweet smelling savour continually and as priests it's expected of us to take responsibility and watch the altar  to ensure the fire does not go out by arranging woods orderly and skillfully in the fire periodically. 

Prayers, one of the kingdom advancement responsibility keeps our altars lighteth so we will not fall into temptation; warm so that we will not faint; vibrant so that our faith fails not, connected so we will not lack help and comfort  and hot so that we will not fall asleep on destiny, and leave our door open to satan to hurt us. Keep your altar lighteth and burning. 

Watch and Pray!

LUKE 18:1  

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

MEDITATION

Prayer is the language of communication between the physical world and the spiritual world. It's the channel to communicate supplication, enforce authority and execute instructions and judgements. It is an eternal ordinance and cannot be broken. It's an eternal mandate not an emergency option.

Prayer is not a Christian doctrine but a spiritual order. Any man that is not praying is guilty of living an ignorant and careless life and is afflicted with infirmity of prayerlessness. Any child of God that is not praying is keep malice with God. 

Carnal people complain about issues; ignorant people murmur about issues; careless people joke over issues but Spiritual people pray about issues. 

Prayer time is always, prayer mood is in season and out of season, prayer frequency is everytime, prayer vessels is everybody and prayer topic is everything.

Our prayer fervency determines our closeness to God, victory in life, authority on earth and respect from the devil.

Always pray!

Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

MEDITATION

The devil is not powerful neither is God deaf but men are either sleeping or careless on duty. Decide enough is enough of prayerlessness, indiscipline, idleness, complain, murmuring and laziness. Awake!

While men slept, the devil sowed tares;

While Saul and Abner slept, David cut the hem of Saul's garment;

Be sober and vigilant. The devil is going about like a tout  looking for blessings to steal, kill and destroy. Awake and take responsibilities, and your destiny will be up and glorious. Give yourself no rest and give God no rest.

Wake up before it's late. Do something and something will happen; do nothing and nothing will happen.

OUR FATHER

MATTHEW  6:9  

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

MEDITATION

Prayer is the communication platform of the spiritual world. It is the communication frequency created for exchange of information in the kingdom of God but also copied by the kingdom of darkness.

It matters who is praying, who you are praying to in heaven and who answers your prayer. God only answers prayers of his children.

God is the God of all flesh not the father of all men. What is our relationship with God? He says when we want to pray we should say "OUR FATHER"

Is God your father or the devil? Whose son or daughter are you? Don't be ignorant or deceived; devil also answers prayers but of his children.

Define your spiritual relationship first before your start praying. Know who you are and who you call your father? The prayer of a sinner is an abomination before God.

Repent. Only sons can call God father.

 Caution!

AFFIRMATION

I received Jesus and the power to be a son of God. Am licensed to call on God as My Father.

PRAYERS

Father in Jesus name I received the power to receive and remain a child of God.

DEVIL'S ALTERNATIVE

GENESIS  16:2 

And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

MEDITATION

When God has spoken to you and you are in the waiting hall of patience of faith, beware of devil's alternatives. It might looks harmless in the beginning but in the end it will become a terror.

Abraham hearkened unto Sarai and accepted Ishmael and today, Ishmael is still smelling; Lot hearkened unto his selfish desires and planned a coup against Abraham and ended up in Sodom; Jacob cheated Esau into his purpose and harvested Laban as inlaw; but Job rejected cursing God from his wife and was restored.

It's not all help, advice and positive steps that are from God. Some are highways to misfortune. Whatever contradict the scriptures and sound judgement should be resisted and rejected. 

Take faith and  covenant responsibilities; wait patiently on God's promises. Hope maketh not ashamed.

Beware of the devil's alternatives.

PROVERBS 19:11 

A person’s wisdom makes him slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense. - NET

MEDITATION

Overlooking offense is a major course in the school of life. There's no end to how many times we should forgive one another as long as we are also offending others and God and also expecting forgiveness from them. We should never hide under the guise of anger to sin nor hold onto unforgiven attitude.

When someone does something wrong, don't forget all he also did right. Offense will never ceased.

Holding a grudge puts you in prison and bars you from access to God. Don't punish yourself for somebody's else offense. Get better not bitter.

Until we grow through offense, we will never understand the real meaning of true love. It takes love and courage to forgive. 

Don't expect too much from people neither do anything in anticipation of same action from others towards you. Do everything out of love so you won't be disappointed and offended. Liberate yourself from offense, bitterness and unforgiveness.

Forgive!

AFFIRMATION

I am better not bitter. I am forgiving

SEASONS OF LIFE

1 CHRONICLES 12:32  

And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.

MEDITATION

Life is a cycle of times and seasons and like the children of Issachar, we must be international about it.

Every season has its characteristics, chances, changes and challenges. We need knowledge to understand and maximize it.

Be a student in the school of life. Don't just go through it, grow through it.

Life seasons are time travellers. They might or might not come back. Embrace them with love, joy and faith. Be spiritual, visionary, purposeful, vigilant and resilient. Maximize the chances, adapt to the changes, overcome the challenges and explore the characteristics.

Be like the children of Issachar; understand the times and do the right thing at the right time!

AFFIRMATION

I am a good student of life. I don't just go through seasons, I grow through seasons.

PRAYER

Father in Jesus name, grant me understanding of every season of my life and grace to maximize them.

As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.

MEDITATION

Relationship plays an important role in purpose fulfilment. We are created to be dependent on God and interdependent on others. Relationship are bridges to helps and territories. No man succeeds as an island. 

No relationship is all together useless. All have lessons of wisdom and foolery embedded in them. We must be conscious in discovering the purpose why God bring us into every relationship.

God is our source and foundation; Family is our forerunner; Friends are our social support system; Team help us achieve much; Partners are helps meet for us; Colleagues connects us across ideas and territories; and Enemies to keep us vigilant and fit.

Relationship are very expensive and demands a lot of sacrifices. If you are ready, don't walk into any.

Don't take any relationship for granted neither underestimate any but be wise in every. Who we walk with will determines where we are going but how we walk with them will determines how we will arrive.

If you want to be a local champion, be an island but if you want to go international, build wise relationship bridges.

AFFIRMATION

I walk with simpleton to teach them, and the wise to learn from them.

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

MEDITATION

The world is no longer a garden God planted for Adam but a forest full of wild beasts. They will always be things that will wear us down and we must fight them all to live.

If we wait for somebody to encourage or motivate us, the world will leave us behind. If we are not intentional in your pursuit, you will never be international.

Abraham waited 25 years for Isaac;

Noah built an ark to overcome;

Jacob was cheated by laban 10 times;

David was hunted by Saul but he refused to quit;;

Daniel was put in the Lion's but he refused to bow.

The will all always be test before testimony. We must be firm, strong and courageous. We must learn to push ourselves at all times.

Don't give up; give all.

AFFIRMATION

I will never give up; I will give all.

DRAW NEAR TO GOD

PSALMS 73:28  

But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

MEDITATION

God made us and he knows the best for us. As the psalmist said "it is good for us to draw near to God"

When we are too far from God, we might be mistaken for an enemy or lost the essence of blessing. The lost son made this mistake when he collected his inheritance from his father and went to a a FAR COUNTRY.

No matter how gifted and versatile we are, we need God to go far in life. If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us but to the crooked, He also shows Himself crooked.

Strength is good but God is best. Be humble. If we are afar of, let's draw near; if we are near, let's draw nearer. Our greatest desires should be to know more of Him.

Draw near to God.

AFFIRMATION

MEDITATION

Our relationship with God determines our access to the ways of God. It is not enough to become a child of God, we must seek spiritual growth in our walk with God.

Everybody is a child of God but everybody is not a man of God nor beloved sons of God nor friends of God. Men that did exploits in the scriptures were all men that intentionally trained themselves to grow in their walk with God.

Seek to grow in righteousness, knowledge of the word and prayers.

Our level of maturity in God will determine our reaction to success and trials, attitude with other men and  access to the things and secrets of God.

Be intentional in spiritual growth.

AFFIRMATION

I am going from strength to strength in my walk with God.

MEDITATION

Nobody arrives at a future he cannot see neither does anyone go forward looking backwards neither does anyone make good progress carrying unwanted luggages.The future we saw yesterday will not be arrived by mistake nor carelessness nor by casual approach.

Every beginning calls for vision, planning, intentionality, responsibility, boldness and diligence. Until we arise, we will never rise.

Arise! Yesterday is past, don't pass away with it; today is here, don't let it pass you by and tomorrow has started, pursue it passionately.

2024 is yours. Arise and take over in Jesus name.
