OUR WRONGS - WRONG PRESUMPTION
1 SAMUEL 16:6
And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD's anointed is before him. 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
MEDITATION
Presumption is a belief that something is true even though it has not been proved.
Samuel almost committed presumptuous error if not for speedy divine intervention.
Physical qualifications and experience are not enough attributes to justify acceptance. Beauty can be deceptive and change is permenent.
In every decision, experience is good, people's testimony is better but God's confirmation is best.
Experience without divine confirmation is an error.
AFFIRMATION
God is my light. I shine by his grace.
PRAYERS
Father deliver me from presumptuous error in Jesus name.
Good morning
