NAME - FORCE OF IDENTITY
2 SAMUEL 9:1
And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake? 9:2 And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.
*MEDITATION*
Names are important in the life well being and destiny of everything including man. To be careless and carefree in naming anything exposes that thing to unhealthy circumstances.
Names are our physical and spiritual identity card and signboard destiny and as such must be spiritually, prayerfully and prophetically selected.
Names are initiation into humanity and destiny without which the persons or thing purpose and place will be lost.
Ziba means impersonator. Mephibosheth means man of shame. Ziba impersonated mephibosheth and took his blessings while mephibosheth was languishing in poverty even though he was a prince and ziba was his servant.
Give names with purpose.
*AFFIRMATION*
I am not a stranger. I have a name and a place.
*PRAYERS*
I destroy every evil impersonator of my name and place in Jesus name.
