OVERCOMING BACKBITING

Psalms  15:1,3

Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?...3. He that backbiteth not with  his tongue...

MEDITATION

Backbiting means to say mean or bad things about a person in the person's absence.

As long as you are in front, people behind will always be envious.

It's not your job to stop people from talking behind you, it's your job not to allow it to affect you.

Make people's back biting your motivation to  move forward and not a discouragement to draw backward.

Don't let someone dim your light because it's shinning into their eyes.

Shine your shine; 

let haters cover their eyes in shame.

PRAYERS

Every tongue that rises against me in judgement I condemn it in Jesus name.

AFFIRMATION

I am a shinning star. I am a light on top of the hill. Backbiting me is advertising me.
