🔍 #REFLECTION

          Good morning, beloved!  

          Paul’s words to young Timothy cut through midlife complacency: The Holy Spirit’s fire in you isn’t self-sustaining. Like embers beneath ash, your divine gifts can fade without intentional stirring. Your second half demands not retirement from zeal, but a holy reigniting of passion. The world expects your flame to dim—God commands you to fan it into wildfire.  

          Halfway through the year, it’s not uncommon to feel weary, uninspired, or disconnected from your earlier passion. But heaven is reminding you: Stir up the gift! There is still fire in your bones. You are not finished—you’re being refueled for what’s next.

          SPIRITUALLY: You may feel dry, but your source has not run out. Reconnection to God through worship, the Word, and prayer will rekindle your zeal. 

          EMOTIONALLY: Unstirred gifts breeds apathy, insecurity and regret. Rekindling requires confronting these soul-dampeners.

          MENTALLY: You must renew your perspective, reset your focus, re-engage your imagination and intentionally reignite your passion. Your brain thrives when gifts are activated. 

          You still carry oil. You still have gifts. You still have dreams. Your purpose has not expired. Don’t wait to feel it—fan the flame with action of passion and pursuit. God has not called you to finish this year cold. He’s called you to burn with purpose.

1. What areas of my life feel spiritually or emotionally dry right now?

2. What passion or dream did I start the year with that I’ve abandoned or forgotten?

3. How can I practically reignite my zeal and focus for the rest of the year?

1. IDENTIFY YOUR EMBERS:   Name one God-gift, dream, goal etc grown cold (teaching, encouragement, serving, etc.).  

2. STIR DAILY:  Spend 10 minutes daily reading scripture about that gift, goal (e.g., exhortation? Read Romans 12:8)  and pray for fresh opportunities to use it  

3. FIND YOUR "BELLOWS PARTNER":   Ask one person: "Hold me accountable to reactivate my gift of _____."

4. TAKE A RISK:   Use your gift publicly this week (e.g., encourage a stranger, lead prayer).

Father, thank You for the gifts You’ve placed inside me. I refuse to allow discouragement or fatigue to dim my light. Ignite my spirit once more. Stir every buried dream and dormant passion. May my second half be filled with holy fire, renewed vision, and unstoppable zeal. In Jesus’ name, amen.
