FAMINE

GENESIS  12:10 

And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land. 

MEDITATION

Famine is basically scarcity of resources and basic supplies of life. It is a supernatural weapon of mass destruction.  It can come upon the earth by divine judgement, attracted by man's evil, errors and disobedience or provoked by man's foolish war against the order of nature.

Famine is not poverty. Poverty is not having enough supply for your needs but famine is not having surplus supplies for your needs. Famine unlike poverty does not just affects people, it also affect economies. The impact of famine upon an economy is normally undeniable hardship and drought.

To overcome famine,  we need supernatural help called blessings.  It's the earth's divine bail out provision. While famine was ravaging others, Abraham was rich in cattle, silver and gold, Isaac sowed and reap a hundred fold,  Jacob had double money, fruits and spices. Hardwork plus blessings exempted these patriarchs from the perils of famine.

Famine has already started but rain does not fall in every roof. You can be exempted from famine. Be blessings positive. 

AFFIRMATION

I am blessings positive. I am exempted from famine.

PRAYERS

Father exempt me from the hardship and hazards of famine ravaging the earth in Jesus name
