"Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: 'I promised that your house and your father's house would minister before me forever.' But now the LORD declares: 'Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained. (NIV)
MEDITATION
God's promise is not final but God's Covenant is. Taking responsibility turns promise to a covenant.
Until we take up our part, God will take back his words.
PRAYERS
Father help not to be promises carried away but covenant responsible in Jesus name, amen
