RUN ALONE

2 SAMUEL  18:26  

And the watchman saw another man running: and the watchman called unto the porter, and said, Behold another man running alone. And the king said, He also bringeth tidings.

MEDITATION

There are no escort in any race only competitors. If you are not ready to kick start alone and start running, others will leave you behind or sabotage your vision or betray you. Discouragement and setbacks are constants in life. We must generate excitement for our vision,  be courageous to begin and passionate to pursue. 

  The was a time everybody left Jesus including the disciples. There will always a time the help of man will be scares or disappointing. It does not matter who leaves you as long as God has not left and you have not abandoned your vision. "David encouraged himself in the Lord" the three Hebrew children said" "but if God will not safe us, we will not serve thy god"; Paul said " None of these things move me that I might finish my course with joy".

Do not wait to motivated or assisted but be strong and courageous in every thing you do no matter the discouragement, circumstance or set back.  If help comes, thank God and if it doesn't,  continue with joy. If you don't see a reason to start and stay, you will find excuses to complain and stay back. 

Don't wait for chance to come, don't wait for men to encourage or help you nor competition to challenge you, kick start your vision with faith, and run with it.

Be steadfast; run alone!

AFFIRMATION

I am steadfast, strong and courageous. I run alone.

RUN WELL

GALATIANS  5:7  

Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?  

MEDITATION

To run well means to run and finished overcoming obstacles, distractions and short cuts on the way. When we start anything , lets endeavor to follow the rules less your sacrifices will  be in vain.

A lot of people started well but finished badly, some finished with regrets. Saul, Solomon, Hezekiah, Josiah, Uzzah etc; all these kings were God fearing kings that started well but finished badly. If your mind is off the price, your eyes will be off the prize. Don't be carried away by office, power, pride, achievements, the people praised or complains, greed etc and miss the mark.

It is good to run; It is better to finish; It is best to finished acceptably. Don't cut corners; Less you will be disqualify at the end.

Run well.

AFFIRMATION

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.   

 

MEDITATION

Be conscious that life is a race for purpose fulfilment. It's a race not with others but against forces of hinderances. Consciously and unconsciously,  we must know there's competition against failure. Competition is not an enemy  but the refree that keeps you on track. You must consciously run to win, failure not an option.

Run the race of life with a competition mentality. Competition mentality will keep you prepared; competition mentality will keep you fit; competition will mentality keep you focus; competition mentality will keep you intentional and motivational; competition mentality will keep you consistent; competition will drive you to win against all odds. 

Set your prize before you; let it be your driver. Don't just run; run to win.

AFFIRMATION

I am not loosing guard; I am running to win.

But howsoever, said he, let me run. And he said unto him, Run. Then Ahimaaz ran by the way of the plain, and overran Cushi.

MEDITATION

Willingness means to be inclined or favorably disposed in mind : ready, eager to help, prompt to act or respond, done, borne, or accepted by choice or without reluctance. 

It's only the willing and obedient not the willing or obedient that eat the fruit of the land. Men may commend our eye service but God only commends and rewards our heart service.

Be it a service, task or a goal, if we do it at our convenience or grudgingly or half-heartedly, we are simply executing a task and not fulfilling purpose or pleasing God. For obedience to be complete, it must be willingly, promptly and delightfully to qualify for reward.

Whenever things are not done willingly, mistakes, accidents, wastes and losses are inevitable

Do everything willingly be it for God, ourself or others. Run willingly. 

AFFIRMATION

I am a prompt and delightful athlete. I do all I do willingly.

Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.  

MEDITATION

No matter how good you are;  no matter how early you started, no matter the trials and attack,  if you are not consistent in what you do, you will soon drop out or lack behind. Don't be ignorant of the devices of the enemy. What ever wants you to stop is an enemy of progress. You must resist it vehemently. 

If you are discourage, others will overtake you; If you stand still, others will match you and pass; If you delay, you will arrive late; If you are distracted, you will stumble and fall; If you look back, you will backslide.

Be focus, intentional and consistent in your pursuit  Don't give up no matter what.

AFFIRMATION

My eyes are fixed on the joy of the Lord. I will not give up on destiny and eternity no matter what.

JEREMIAH  12:5  

If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?   

 

MEDITATION

Life is a race full of hurdles. Let every hurdle motivate you to work harder, jump higher and run smarter. Never complain over them; make them your energies not your enemies. 

When you are in love with what you do, there's no price you will not pay to finished it. For God so loved the world, He gave us Jesus His only son.. Keep your heart on the prize  and your eyes on goal. Run with passion.

Don't be weary; be wired. Be driven with passion and your passage will be glorious.

AFFIRMATION

I love my vision. Am passionate about my purpose. Am running with it.

PSALMS 19.5 

It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race. (NLT) 

MEDITATION

If you give someone the privilege of obstructing your joy, you are either ignorance, or foolish or bewitched or have forgotten your purpose or made man or circumstances your joy or not diligent enough or have not learnt anything from experience and observations. Joy is the strength of the race of life.

Don't be casual, careless or negligent with your joy. Guard it jealously and diligently. You are the refree of you life. Don't allow anything or anyone blow foul for you or dump garbage into your mind.

Only God is constant. Every other thing is variable. Rejoice in the Lord and your purpose. When God and purpose becomes the reason of your excitement, circumstances and men cannot mess with your joy.

Rejoice evermore!

AFFIRMATION

I have oil of joy. My cup runneth over.

RUN WITH REASON 

1 CORINTHIANS 9.26 

So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step. I am not like a boxer who misses his punches. (NLT)

MEDITATION

There's must be a what, why and where in everything we do in life. If our daily routines and engagements cannot answer these questions, then we are just busy but not in business.

In the race of life, where you are going is your goal, and why you are going there is your purpose and what you are going to do there is your mandate. If you miss these three things, you are running amiss.

If you run because others are running, you are afra.id; If you run to please people, you are deceiving yourself; If you run so that people will not mock you, you are foolish; If you run because you don’t know what to do, you are confused; if you run to while away time, you are wasting energy; if you run because time is running,  you are busy; if you run because you have a purpose,  you are in business. 

Don't run without what, why and where. Run with reason.

AFFIRMATION

I am not beating the air. Am running with my eyes fixed on the prize.

PRAYERS

Father fix my eyes on the prize so as not to miss my focus in Jesus name

EVIL IS EVIL

1 CORINTHIANS 9.27

I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified. (NLT)

MEDITATION

The world today celebrate folly and despise wisdom. Never be celebrated for a wrong reason. A good name is better than riches. It does not matter is a song of dead conscience. Because another is doing it does not mean it is right or he has escape the consequences. 

Don't mistake popularity for acceptance. Because evil is popular does not mean good is dead. Everybody is doing it does not make it right. Don't follow the crowd and do evil.  What is wrong remains wrong no matter who is doing it. If you follow the wrong crowd, you will miss the right crown.

Good or evil is  a result of conscious efforts and discipline.  Nobody does good or evil by mistake. Out of the meditation of the heart, actions overflows. Make conscious efforts daily to live good.

Evil is evil no matter who is doing it. Do Good; Resist Evil.

AFFIRMATION

I train my body to do what is good and resist what is evil.

PRAYERS

UNHEALTHY DESIRES

HEBREWS  11:24

 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;  11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

MEDITATION

Happiness is not always equal to health. It's not everything sweet that is healthy. If you don't control your desires and appetite, they will destroy you.

A lot of oppression most people face now are result of indisciplined appetite.  Obesity,  greed, perversion,  bitterness,  etc are all uncontrolled unhealthy consequences of unhealthy actions that gave us pleasure and ego in the beginning.  Most actions gives immediate satisfaction but leaves behind permanent unhealthy situations.

There's no medical drug for indiscipline. Moses by faith refused  to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; and  Daniel by faith refused to eat the king's meat. You must be spiritual and intentional about unhealthy appetite and desires.

If you want to live long, discipline your desires. Give it what it needs not all it wants. Flee unhealthy pleasure traps

AFFIRMATION

I discpliine my desires and appetite.  I train my body to have what it needs not all it wants.

PRAYERS

I resist every unhealthy desires sent to trap my future  in Jesus name

REBUKE THAT EVIL

2 TIMOTHY  4:2  

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

MEDITATION

Every evil we see around us is the handiwork of the devil. Human beings are mere puppets in his hand. The enemy we see is an echo of the devil. 

The devil has three goal against humanity; to kill, to steal and to destroy and bible says for these purposes was Jesus manifested that He might destroy these works of darkness; and christians have three gold goal against evil; to repove, rebuke and exhort.

If Satan uses men, God also uses men. If we make ourselves available and build ourselves in the ways of God, He will empower us with authority to checkmate  evil.

Stop complaining about evil attack or asking God to stop it, rebuke the devil and evil will flee from you.

AFFIRMATION

I ask God for blessings but rebuke evil against my blessings.

I rebuke every satanic manipulation against me in Jesus name

Gen.26.1 - And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. 12 - Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

MEDITATION

Every divine project enjoys supernatural blessings. It's operates not according to economic realities but by covenant blessings principles. In the midst of plague in Egypt, Israelites Goshen was exempted; in the midst of famine, Isaac, his household and business were exempted. 

Hardship and famine are not new. They are tools of distinction between the people that truly serve God and those that serve him not. Where others cry, they are meant to laugh; where others crawl, they are meant to fly; they are blessed not lucky. They are not subject to time and chance but blessings and faith. Blessings are superior to economics.

Be steadfast in your walk with God and work in life. God is a respecter of covenant and principles. Blessings are not automatic but according to your knowledge, obedience and faith.

You are a divine project not problem. You walk by covenant blessing not economy. You are supernaturally exempted. 

AFFIRMATION

I walk by covenant blessings.  Am supernaturally exempted.

PRAYERS

Father give my wisdom to walk in the knowledge of the covenant and blessings in the name of Jesus amen.

MEDITATION

The level of our authority and the strength of our capacity are defined by who we are, where we belong, the authority and powers of where we belong, the authority delegated to us and the powers we generate through responsibilities.

Authority is power we have been given by a higher power we are connected to and  capacity is power we generate by spiritual responsibilities we have undertaken.. These two defines the battle we fight, ignore, resist, disrespect, lose and win.. 

Challenges and change are constant. Our authority and capacity will determine our actions and reactions to them. If we copy or assumed authority and capacity, we will be disgraced and destroyed. The seven sons of Scevas is an example.

Have faith, fear God and take spiritual responsibilities. This is the triangle of power and authority.

AFFIRMATION

I am have faith, fear God and take spiritual responsibilities. I have power.

Father endue me with discipline to walk with you and work myself in Jesus name

ISAIAH  54:15 

Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

MEDITATION

Don't be ignorant of the devices of the enemy nor be careless with your immunity in Christ Jesus but be strong in capacity and responsibility as somebody from above.

Heaven will not stop evil men from gathering against you  because though you are in this world, you are not from this world and what works against the world works for your good. Any attack against you is a suicide mission.

Be steadfast in your love and services to God. You are from above, seated far above and above all.

AFFIRMATION

I am seated far above; am above all.
