PROVERBS  27:17  

Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

MEDITATION

Greet all but don't give yourself to all. It is not every person you meet on the street that should enter your life or know your house. Meditate and reflect on companies you keep now and the ones you are about to enter. Association will either quicken or weaken progress and as such should not be engage on sentiments, impulse or hastily but with caution and wisdom.

No association leaves you the same. They will either add to or multiply or subtract from or divide you. If there's no symbiotic purpose in the association you are keeping, then you are beating the air.

Clearly define and understand the purpose and benefits, liabilities and loses of every association in your life and take quick action for or against them. Exit all  associations that adds no value to your life.

Say no to valueless associations.

AFFIRMATION

I mind my company. I associate my purpose with value and virtue.

PRAYERS

Father give me courage and wisdom to say no to vain, foolish and unprofitable associations in the name of Jesus amen.

MEDITATION

We would have been the person God created us to be if not for the people we  meet, and the things we learn. We are all photocopies of the company we associate with physically, mentally emotionally and spiritually.

Who you walk with is who you gist with; who you gist with is who you learn from; who you learn from is who you think like, who you think like is who you look like. Your companion is the mirror of yourself.

Character is vulnerable and attitude is contagious. Select your friends like beans so that you will not be infected with wrong character. 

Beware of character infection.

AFFIRMATION

I select my companion like beans. I immunized myself from character infection.

PRAYERS

Father, inoculate me with resistance to the  corruption of this world in Jesus name

2.5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven." (NIV)

MEDITATION

Synergy means combined power of operation for better results. One faith is energy, two or more faith are synergy. One faith is powerful, two or more are more powerful. What one faith cannot do, more faith can do.

Company is a two edged sword. It can either make you bitter or better. The purpose of company is for healthy companionship and better productivity.  Any company that does not make your results better is a liability.

People around you reveals the purpose and pursuit within you. Resist unproductive and unprofitable company. Bad company is foolishness and good company is wisdom. It is two good heads not two heads that are better than one.

Companionship is by choice not by force. Encourage company around you  that will augment and complement the purpose and pursuit within you.

AFFIRMATION

I resist unproductive company. I align my destiny with good company.

PRAYERS

Father disconnect me from company that does not align with my purpose and pursuit in Jesus name

MEDITATION

The greatest undoing of life is not to believe in yourself. Looking down on yourself and your potentials is suicide. Believing that others are better than you. The mind is the battlefield of life and If you are defeated in your mind, you are defeated in your life. Everything that will last must grow from inside.

Competition, people's opinion, limitations and past experiences should motivate you rather than intimidate you. The only competitor we have in life is our goal not our neighbor. 

Stop saying I can't; Stop saying I have nobody.  You can do anything if you want to; You can encourage yourself and stand up; You can join faith with someone and stand up;  You can hold something and stand up;  You can hold God's word and stand up;  You have God, faith, time & opportunities; so you can.

Focus on your goals not your neighbours, past experiences, limitations or people's opinion. Shout I can!

AFFIRMATION

I am more than this. I can do all things through Christ.

PRAYERS

FEAR OF THE LORD

PSALMS  25:14  

The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

MEDITATION

Fear of God is to have respect for God and His commandments. If we abstain from wrong doing because it is a bad thing, it's a moral virtue but if we abstain from a thing because God says so, it's respect for God. Fear of God is the ability to stay away from evil because God says so.  Until a child respect the father, the love of the father will not be unleashed fully upon the child.

Respect is reciprocal. Fear of God engender respect and trust from God. The secret of life are entrusted to those that fear God. Abraham, Noah, Joseph, Moses, David etc all feared God. Fear of God is the foundation to greatness in life.

Don't just be a child of God; earned the trust of God.

Fear God and things will respect you!

AFFIRMATION

I respect God and His words and things respect me and my words.

1 CHRONICLES  12:32 

 And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.

MEDITATION

To expect change and not prepare for the demands of change is to fight against your success. The children of Issachar had understanding of their time of visitation and knew what to do. Jotham became great because he prepared his way before the Lord.  When you have understanding of your season of change or a strong desire for change, you are expected to get ready.

Don't be casual or careless or carefree about the change you desire. Unseriousness and procrastination will turn you to a complainant and casualty. Your faith and works are the evidence that you are prepared.

Your season is now not tomorrow. Dont just expect,  prepare also. Get ready!

AFFIRMATION

This is my time. I am ready!

John  5:7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.  5:8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

MEDITATION

"This is not how we used to do it" has stop  many dreams and hindered many innovation. It's uncultured not to recognize change and embrace it. Being accustomed to an obsolete pattern or method can be retrogressive and frustrating. There's always another way of doing what we are struggling to do if we can think smart enough.

Whenever what you know no longer produce results, it's an indication that is time to seek change of course.  Change is the only permenent pattern. Only God is permanent and Almighty. Every other thing in life is numerous and diverse. No almighty formula.

Don't be caged in a clock. Don't get stuck to obsolete tradition and method. You are a pace setter and a pathfinder. What matters is progress and results not what others will say.  Discover something new and better. Tick anti clockwise or outside the clock. 

Don't allow what people will say hinder your progress. Be pragmatic and innovative.

AFFIRMATION

Am rising and walking. My mind is ticking outside the clock.

PSALMS  23,:4

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

MEDITATION

Fear are those things scares us when we take our eyes off God and courage. Evil will surely come but  It's difficult for evil to overcome us until we are afraid. David said though he walked through the valley of the shadow of death, he will fear no evil because he has God.

When God is behind us, it does not matter what is in front of us; When God is with us, it does not matter those that leave us; When God is for us; it does not matter those that are against us. When God is in us, we can do all things through Christ.

It's impossible to overcome when we are fearful.  Be strong and courageous.

AFFIRMATION

I am strong and courageous. I fear no evil.

PRAYERS

Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name in Jesus name

JOHN  5:5 

And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.  5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

MEDITATION

Failure has not given up on you. It will continue to do everything to try to make you stop. Satan will fight you to stop trying while self will discourage you to stop trying. You must always know that it's not over until you win.

It does not matter how many times you have tried and it didn't work out. It is not enough reason to give up. Try and try again.

Don't be careless with your hope nor disregard it because it didn't work out the other times. Resist the temptations to be discouraged. Men will mock you;  life will break and you will be exhausted  but tell your discouragement "I will try again until it works" Discourage your discouragement from discouraging you.

Resist discouragement and try again!

1 TIMOTHY  6:10 

 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

MEDITATION

After God, success and money is the next thing men worship and are ready to sacrifice for. This we must be careful. Success is the will of God for his children but not at the cost of morality, righteousness and life.

Money and success has physical, intellectual and spiritual principles. Diligence results in profit, intelligence beat competition while spiritual covenant commands favour.

Don't be lazy and despised diligence; foolish and despised intelligence and ignorant and despise covenant. These three principles are what define good and evil success and wealth.  Beware of the temptations of wealth neither be ignorant of the demands for profit. Diligence, Intelligence and covenant are triplets of success and wealth.

Don't succeed matching on others or pulling others down.  Success that bring sorrows to you and others now or later is evil. Good success is without sorrow. 

Maximize the demands for money but beware of the temptations of money.

AFFIRMATION

I maximized the demands for money. I overcome the temptations for money.

Father deliver me from the temptations of money around me in Jesus name.

PROVERBS  24:10 

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

MEDITATION

We have a common enemy who works round the clock to kill, steal and destroy. He either resist your blessings from God or he afflict us with tribulation. This is called day of adversity or evil day.

If you fall, fail or faint  in the day of adversity, it's either your light is not bright enough like the children of Ephraim, or you don't have enough kerosene in your lamp like the ten foolish virgin or you slept on duty and an evil wind blew off your light like Peter when he cuts off someone's ear  or careless like Sampson and your eyes and hairs are destroyed etc

Your enemy is evil but not stupid. The world is no longer a garden of Eden but a jungle full of wild beast and destiny is no longer an adventure but a warfare.

Be word filled; temptations conscious and battle ready always.

AFFIRMATION

I am the light of the world. I am temptation conscious and battle ready.

Father lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil in Jesus name

OPPORTUNITY

ECCLESIASTES  9:11 

 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

MEDITATION

Should a regenerated christian under grace be subject to time and chance?. What then is the gospel of faith? Why wait for the movement of the water by the angel when Jesus is a faith away.

Now that we are in Christ, let's renew our mind with the word and not be subject to old fable tales. If you don't rightly divide the word of truth, you will be divided by ignorance.

Time and chance is waiting for a favourable season to take action. The day of salvation and faith is now not later.  You don't need to wait; you need to ask. The violent takes by force.

If we subject our destiny to opportunities, we will wait for a longtime. The man at water wasted 38 years. The just live by faith and change not time and chance.

Stop waiting for chance to come; call chance and take it by faith.

AFFIRMATION

I don't wait for chance; I take chance by faith.

MEDITATION

The grave has remained the greatest treasure chest in the world because of so many buried great dreams that never saw the light of the day. They all were waiting for a perfect time and a big start. They all lacked the joy, zeal and courage to kickstart their dreams. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step not a leap. 

Every great tree was once a small seed. To start in a corner is commendable but to end in a corner is condemnable. Life is in phases. Don't be ignorant to try to use others begining as your parameter to start your dream.If you are too big to start small, you will be too small to grow big.

 Start up capital is not how much you have but how willing you are. When there's a will, there's a way. Look around you. Nature and life is a cycle of seed time and harvest. Stop procrastinating, comparison and resist discouragement. Be humble, zealous, pragmatic and resilient

We rejoice at the thought but God rejoices to see the work begin. Wish is a desire not an action. What you have where you are is enough to start what you want.

Say no to procrastination and excuses. Start now!

AFFIRMATION

1 CORINTHIANS 15.10 

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. (NIV)

MEDITATION

If you want to be like the rest, work like the rest but if you want to be the best,  work harder than the rest.

There's a price to pay for everything we want. Nothing of value is easy. To succeed, you work hard, but to surpass, you work harder. Paul didn't write 14 books of the new testament by just grace and hard work. From his words, he said "I worked harder than all of them"

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the EXTRA mile that many refuse go. It takes an extra mile to make an extra mark. Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, Joshua was called Moses's servant ; Elisha used to pour water on the hands of Elijah, Oyedepo works 18 hours a day etc. There is a sacrifice you must make for the aroma of your greatness to go up?

To be the best in anything, there's a price of sacrifice. Don't just work. work harder.

AFFIRMATION

I am not beating the air; I am not doing eye service. I  am working harder.

PSALMS  78:9 

The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.

MEDITATION

God did not take the Israelites through a shorter route to Canaan because they lacked war training experience and battle exposure to fight. Lack or inadequate training makes a simple tasks difficult.

Training equip us for opportunities and armed us for challenges. It makes us ready always and is the key to excellent service, task and responsibilities delivery.

If you empowered an untrain person, he will always give excuses, shoot at a wrong target or turned back on the day of battle.

If you empower an untrain person, you will spend the rest of your life cleaning his mess.

Training is capacity building and key to excellence.

AFFIRMATION

I am work in progress. I am fit for challenges and excellent service delivery .

PRAYERS

David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.  22:2 And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.

MEDITATION

Training is a recycling machine. It turns trash to treasure. Don't write off yourself neither anybody. There are hidden potential in every one waiting to be harness and harvest.

You don't need gift or talent to become anything you want to be. Anybody can be trained to become anything as long as there's humility and willingness to learn, unlearn and relearn.

No mighty men of David was a ready made soldier. Training turned them around to become the stars they became.

Give your potential a chance. Don't give up neither look down on yourself. Your dream is possible. 

Learn, unlearn and relearn.

AFFIRMATION

MEDITATION

The world is dynamic and innovative. If we are not updated regularly, we will soon be outdated. Training is adding value, style, updates and professionalism to talents, skills and expertise. We become what we want to be by learning what we want to become.

Training makes for professionalism, perfection, relevance, boldness, capacity, defence, good association, excellence, profitability and posterity.

Everyone needs continuous updates to be relevant spiritually, mentally, emotionally and technically. Training transforms nobody to somebody.

There's no Superman anywhere. It's training that  empowers destiny.

AFFIRMATION

I am all round updated. I  have a sound mind and spirit.

PRAYERS

Father help me to humble myself to learn, unlearn and relearn to show myself approve and efficient  in Jesus name.
