TUESDAY APRIL 30,  2024

YOUR VINEYARD 

SONG OF SOLOMON 1:6

Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

MEDITATION 

A popular scripture emphasized "LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF" not "MORE THAN YOURSELF" There's nothing wrong with being a shinning star outside but not when you are dying star at home.  A light that shines well outsude should shine better inside. Charity begins at home.

If your results outside is greater than your results at home, your dexterity is lopsided. A celebrity outside and a nonentity inside is an error. Carry your home wherever you go like the snail. Labour for others with same dexterity you labour for your home. Don't be top busy building your neighbor's brand at the expense of your brand even when building others might be included in your purpose. A good dream without a good foundation is a tragedy about to happen. 

Don't be tempted and driven by adrenalin, fame and social status, income, others, demand, gifts, knowledge, competition, zeal without right knowledge and lust. Wisdom is still the principal thing. Take care of your family before outsiders and build your own business well before building others. Don't be a celebrity transit helper without a base that aligns with your high flying social status and benevolence. .

Build your neighbor's brand but build your brand first. Show restraint!

AFFIRMATION 

 I carry my home everywhere.  I labour for my neighbors as I labour for my home.

 PRAYERS

Father, help me not to be distracted by the demands and  sweetness outside to forget my home in Jesus name

PSALMS  23:4 

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

 *MEDITATION* 

Fear are those frightening things and thoughts we see when we take our minds off God and His words. In the school of life, until you are afraid, you cannot suffer harm. Fear is the spike that puncture our courage and faith. It almost destroyed Job and the disciples of Jesus.

Until we are afraid, we are in charge. The moment we become afraid, we opened door to sorrows and misfortune. We must be knowledgeable and courageous at all times. 

The scriptures have 365 fear not gracefully apportioned for each day. Hear what Prophet Isaiah said: "Fear thou not ON MONDAY for I am with thee ON TUESDAY; be not dismay ON WEDNESDAY for I am thy God ON THURSDAY; yea, I will strenghthen  thee ON FRIDAY; yea, I will help thee ON SATURDAY, I will uphold thee with my right hand of righteousness ON SUNDAY" (Isaiah 41:10)

We are fearfully made. Fear not.

 *AFFIRMATION*

I fear no evil. I am fearfully made

 *PRAYERS* 

I resist the spirit of bondage to fear in Jesus name.

ROMANS  12:10 

 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

MEDITATION 

Love is a strong concern and affection for others. It is the bond of coexistence of all living. It is the greatest divine and human virtue. 

Loving is living but in the school of life, you will be alienated, despised and hated for no reason. Love is now fraternity and circumstances defined not humanity related. Being human and qualified is no longer the basis for coexistence, recommendation or favour.

When men despise you for no reason, love them for no reason. Loving one another is a divine instruction and prescription as the cure for all earthly crises and chaos. If we only love the ones we fraternized with, we have failed God and humanity. 

Love one another with a pure conscience as God first love you. Let brotherly love continue.

AFFIRMATION 

I don't love because people love me; I love because God first love me.

 PRAYERS

Father, let my love for you and humanity abounds more and more in Jesus name

ROMANS  11:13  

For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

MEDITATION 

In the school of life,  how you carry yourself is how men will look at you and what you  are doing. It's is not pride to put value on yourself and carry yourself with dignity.

Pride is when others does not matter. Magnifying yourself is when you don't belittle yourself or what you do thereby making others look down on you.

You are not inferior to anybody. Don't allow yourself to become an opinion of others neither be ashamed of your work. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Be courageous and continually upgrade yourself so that you will remain bold and  relevant.

Don't be timid, neither be a mediocre. Magnify your office.

AFFIRMATION 

I am wonderfully made. I magnify my office.

 PRAYERS

Father, deliver me from timidity and mediocrity in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE:  INCASE YOU ARE TIRED OF LIFE

1 CORINTHIANS  10:13  

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

MEDITATION 

Trials are obstacles set on our way to delay or prevent or discourage us from achieving our purpose. Temptations on the other hand are traps and distractions set up on our way to lure you out of purpose. While trial needs your submission to overpower you, temptation on the other hand needs your cooperation to over power you. These twins are the reason life seems unbearable but one thing is sure about them, they  cannit over power you without your consent.

In the school of life, the moment you appear desperate, anxious and helpless, you become vulnerable. There's nobody without an issue in life. Don't make your issue an international issue. Every issue everybody faces per time is what they can overcome. 

Secondly, you are not the only one having issues. There are always people with similar condition as yours,  people your condition is better than, people whose condition are better than yours and people who have been through all these and overcame.

Never be tired of life, rather be tired of the lies of the devil. Be strong and courageous.  You will go forward if you keep on pressing forward. Don't give up!

AFFIRMATION 

Am not giving up; am pressing forward!

 PRAYERS

Father, quicken me with courage and strength to hold on in Jesus name

PHILIPPIANS  1:21 

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

MEDITATION 

Dedication is total alignment to a course, purpose, vision or master. It's following and serving our conviction mumuishly. It is a divine energy that drives purpose to it's destination. It is to be passionate and burning for a thing.

Whatever we are not dedicated to, we will not excel at. Dedication is not a skill to be learnt but a spark to be ignited into fire. It is resident in everyman and needs to be channel aright. It is what makes anyone good at anything.

Everyone burning with dedication must first know the right path and purpose to burn for else he be deceived or distracted  and his services and sacrifices be in vain. Caution!

To excel and benefit at anything, our dedication must be right, resolute, intentional, sacrificial, purposeful, joyful, diligent, measurable, wholeheartedl, selfless, adamant and focused

Be rightly dedicated..

AFFIRMATION 

Am passionate and burning but I mind the things I burn for.

SCHOOL OF LIFE:  WHEN ALL HOPE IS GONE

ROMANS 4.18 

[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be. (AMP)

MEDITATION 

In the school of life,  there arises a time or situation  that seems all hope is gone. Despite all your efforts, all your expectations seems cut off. I have goodnews for you today; the God of hope is alive and still doing good.

What then is happening to our hope? Hope is an essential commodity of life. It's our only evidence of faith in God to take delivery of our expectations.  Every anti success forces are after our hope.

Hope wil be stolen if we don't guard it diligently; hope will be broken if we don't hope continually in God; hope will become weak if we are not strong in hope; hope will be discouraged if we are not joyful about it and hope will die if we don't feed it well with the word of God.

God cannot help a hopeless man. Hope is not a gift but a responsibility we must take to else it will be gone.  Hope maketh not ashamed. When all hope seems gone, hope in God again and again. 

AFFIRMATION 

 My hope is in God; my expectations are sure.

 PRAYERS

Father, quicken me to hope continually in your words  in Jesus name

RE: TITHING

RE: TITHING

"If in your stinginess you think giving God 10% is ok, continue" I heard a preacher said this. So the issue is not tithe but intention. Why preach against tithe and turn around and implore the people to give more than 10 percent through free will offering.

Tithing or no tithing does not make you a lesser or better Christian. It's not even a sin but personal obligation. Be convicted and do what scripturally works for you by the revelation of your fold. Even Jesus had other sheep that were not in his fold. Nobody has monopoly of revelation.

Be mindful of messages from pulpit and books from preachers. Be like the Berean believers; read more of the scriptures and compare messages with scriptures. Preachers are not super humans. They too are vulnerable. Study the Bible for yourself.

Salvation, righteousness, love and faith are the weightier matters. Let's be mindful of our focus.

SCHOOL OF LIFE:  MEN WILL FORGET YOU

JOHN  5:7  

The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

MEDITATION 

In the school of life, everyone comes from somewhere but when you are in need of help, relations and friends you expect to be of  help might not be available or capable for one reason or the other. Our prayers should be may God remember us when men forget us.

A number of reason accounts for why people forget others:. Our harvest of selfishness, out of sight, change of status, wickedness of heart, egoism,  pride, fraternity, new friends, bitterness, evil gossip, jealousy, and new lifestyle.

Don't be offended because men forget you. God is the source of help; all men are mere vessels. Do not put your hope in man so you won't be disappointed.

We must sow seed of goodness continually so we can reap goodness. Never expect harvest where you did not sow any seed.  Be good to people when it's in your power to do so; intentionally look out to help others as God lifts you and these seed you sow will return to you as harvest.  

Look up to God and do good to others.

AFFIRMATION 

 God is my helper my heart does not fear. I look up to Him and He turns the hear of men in my favour.

 PRAYERS

Father, quicken me to put my trust in you always  in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE: MOCKERY

NEHEMIAH  4:1 

But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews.

MEDITATION 

Words are tongue power. Ife we don't resist the bad ones, we become them. In the school of life, there's always a season that people will say insulting and demeaning words against you. The purpose of mockery is to force you to give up on purpose and  hope and accept their version of you. Resist it.

When people look down on you and your destiny, look up to God , look onto his word, look into yourself and look forward to a better future. Never become an opinion of people's wickedness of heart.

When we loose sight of God, we start hearing miserable people. When men say there's a casting down, we say there's a lifting up; every tongue that rises against us in judgement, we shall condemn; it's the brook that dried not God that died. When there's hope, there's life.

It's our responsibility to resist mockery. Don't give into bitterness of people. Don't give up, go up.

AFFIRMATION 

 I am not what men say; I am what God says and I will be what God says.

SCHOOL OF LIFE: FALSE ACCUSATIONS

1 SAMUEL 25:10  

And Nabal answered David's servants, and said, Who is David? and who is the son of Jesse? there be many servants now a days that break away every man from his master.

MEDITATION 

If you have not yet been accused falsely for what you have not done, then be in preparation for it's one of the core course of champions in the school of life. Even Jesus was falsely accused of delivering people with the spirit of Baalzebob..

You don't need to offend someone or made a mistake or commit sin to be accused falsely. Being alive everyday and winning every time qualifies us for the charge of false accusations. Winning in life attracts both admirers and enemies.

Don't be offended when you are wrongly accused. Envy and bitterness is self punishment. Never answer a fool according to his folly. Keep on winning and God will vindicate you and put them to shame. Use their envy and bitterness as fuel to go forward.

AFFIRMATION 

Am going higher everyday. Envy and bitterness pushes me forward.

SCHOOL OF LIFE: WISE APPRENTICE

ECCLESIASTES 10:15  

The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.

MEDITATION 

In the school of life, wise apprentice is that person that knows what good to be done, how to do it and do it at the proper time. It's not enough to know what good to be done, we must know how and when to do it.

 A foolish apprentice can be good and faithful but does not know when or how to apply his expertise well. Right thing at the wrong time is an error; right thing at our own time is pride; right thing in a wrong way is foolishness; right thing at the right time in the right way is success.

It's the responsibility of apprentice to choose their masters, learn and understand well. If you lack understanding, or mentored wrongly or by a wrong person, it's your choice. 

Learning a trade and serving a master are very difficult choice. The road there is full of tasks, traps and temptations. When you are good and faithful but foolish, you will serve and miss. Learn wisdom from observations, experience, and testimonies of others.

Be good and faithful and most importantly, be wise.

AFFIRMATION 

I choose wisdom. I escape the trap of serving amiss.

 PRAYERS

Father, endure with wisdom to escape the traps, temptations and errors of service in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE: FAITHFUL APPRENTICE

2 KINGS 3:11  

But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.

MEDITATION 

Apprenticeship demands both diligence to your work and faithfulness to your master else you serve and loss. Lucifer, Joab and Gehazi lost our not because they were not good but because they were not faithful. 

Whatever you are learning as you grow in the school of life, learn the trade well and also serve your master well. When you are good, you will be commended but when you are good and faithful, you will be recommended. Elisha was not recommended because he was a firebrand prophet but because he was faithful to his master. Expertise is acquired by learning but virtue is transmitted by faithfulness. If we cannot serve man well, we will not serve God well. 

The scripture says "Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured" PRV.27:17.

He that has ear, let him hear. Be loyal and faithful.

AFFIRMATION 

I am meek and loyal. I wait on my master.

 PRAYERS

Father, quicken me with meekness in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE: GOOD APPRENTICE

PSALMS  123:2  

Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

MEDITATION 

It's one thing to learn something, it's another thing to know and do what you learnt. Whatever is your call or career, if you are not good at it, nobody will come for it. It's only good servants that are commendable and marketable. "Study to show yourself approved" is not a suggestion nor observation but an instruction. 

Every good apprentice looks at the hands of his master not the wealth of his master. When you learn well what the hands of your master does, you have whatever the purse of your master has. Joshua, Samuel, Elisha, David, the Hebrew boys in Babylon, the disciples of Jesus are all examples of commendable apprentices.

Flee the temptation of greed, laziness, bad company and quick and evil money that is bedeviling this generation. Short cuts are death cuts. Caution! 

If you are  focus humble and  diligent and learn well. When you become good, men will look for what you know..

AFFIRMATION 

I stopp low to learn well so as to rise up and do well.

 PRAYERS

Father, give me a teachable spirit  in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE: APPRENTICESHIP

1 CORINTHIANS  11:1  

Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

MEDITATION 

In the school of life, every moment of life is a lesson and every great man is an apprentice. Until we desire to learn something, we will never grow up to be somebody. To Jesus God instructed "...sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool"

As a good student of life, we need a master(s) to learn from. We develop on their strength, avoid their mistakes, improvise on their vision and most importantly, be infected with their virtue. Apprenticeship is not a guarantee of success but it's a necessity for success. 

If you desire maturity and success, be diligent, humble, resilient, patient and sacrificial in learning. Mastery does not happen by chance but by choice.

Learn all you can while you can and you will be all you want while you live. Never give up on learning.

AFFIRMATION 

I go from strength to strength. I learn every moment.

 PRAYERS

Father, give me a teachable spirit  in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE: GOODNESS

ROMANS 12:2 

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

MEDITATION 

Don't do good because life is good to you, do good because God says you should do it. Life sometimes will not be fair.

We need not be as unstable as as life but as stable as hope. Hope maketh not ashamed. When there's hope, there's life. Life is a journey of destiny to eternity through time, trials, tribulation and testimonies. If we are not morally and godly stable, we will drift away with the tide of times and waves of life.

You will be hurt, beaten, cheated, lied against, mocked at, angered, insulted etc and they will aroused inside us the temptation to react as the world does to show them we are not a weakling, but remember, the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Be good and godly.

AFFIRMATION 

I don:t conform to life standard. Am transformed with good and godly character.

 PRAYERS

Father, help me to be good and godly in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE: PAY BACK

PROVERBS  26:27  

Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.

MEDITATION 

For every good and evil thing we do, there's a proportional reward today, tomorrow or sometime later in future. An adage says a man that urinate into village the stream, if his children does not drink it, the paternal or maternal relatives will drink it. 

Pay back is due returns for services rendered or character exhibited.. Character is an investment not a grant. Whatever we do  will bounce back to us someday. What goes around will one day come around.

Lot paid for backstabbing Abraham, Jacob paid for his trickery against Esau, David paid for the murder of Uriah, Absalom paid for his rebellion against David, Judas paid for his betrayal of Jesus etc. When we sow Jacob as  seed, we will reap Laban as harvest.

It pays better to do good so that when it comes around, it will do us good. Payback is real.

AFFIRMATION 

I do good to others, God make others do good to me

SCHOOL OF LIFE: MAN YOUR ADVERSARY

JEREMIAH  17:9  

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

MEDITATION 

Redeemed man is the image of God but corrupted man is the cloned of the devil.  His heart is desperately wicked. Scripture called him a child of the devil.

Earth is no longer the garden of Eden but a jungle and the lifestyle is the food chain cycle and survival. If you are not strong, you will be eaten, and if you are not wise, you will be used and dumped. Everybody will not like you or your dreams no matter how good, meek and harmless you are.  Enemies are part of the process of life. Even in death, some people will still hate you. 

The heart of man evil and unstable. Parents kill their children, brothers hates their brother, inlaw wicked another inlaw , servants betray their master, leaders abused mandate given to them, friends envy each other etc. Love has become a scares commodity among men.

Everybody is a suspect. Man has become a necessary evil. Love one another but guard your trust with all diligent; be quick to hear and learn but slow to talk; be careful who you take into confidence and don't give yourself too easily to another man. Test and prove all relationship. Be wise.

AFFIRMATION 

I am wiser now. I choose my trustees

 PRAYERS

Father, protect me from the wickedness of men in Jesus name

BLAME TRADING

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Devil deceived Eve to sin and Eve in turn lured Adam into sin. Adam didn't tell God am sorry neither did he cautioned Eve. He instead answered God "THE WOMAN YOU GAVE ME GAVE IT TO ME AND I ATE" 

When God blesses us, do we worship the gift instead of the giver and when we default, do we accept and take responsibility or do we trade blame?

SCHOOL OF LIFE: DEVIL YOUR ADVERSARY

1 PETER  5:8  

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

MEDITATION 

Life is a warfare and our mind is the battlefield. The devil is the Field Marshall and Commander in Chief of adversities and tribulations. He formulates, manipulates and executes evil occurrences in the school of life.

Evil spirit entered Saul through disobedience, and manipulate him to persecute David, Satan entered Judas through greed and manipulate him to betray Christ. Devil is the source of evil and misfortune, but temptations we fall into open doors for him to enter.

He does not afflict by force but by subtility through our ignorance, availability and vulnerabilty. The scriptures says be as wise as the serpent. It's only a fool that says in his heart there's no God nor devil or lives at ease..

As God does not sleep nor slumber to protect us from evil, the devil also does not sleep nor slumber to search for unsuspecting and vunerable men that are at ease in Zion to bedevil. 

Beware! devil our enemy is on the loose to kill, steal and destroy everything around and about us.  It's only he that overcomes that conquer. Be sober and vigilant.

AFFIRMATION 

I don't sleep on duty. Am sober and vigilant.

 PRAYERS

Father, help me to stay sober and vigilant   in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE: BE CAREFUL

1 CORINTHIANS 10:12  

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

MEDITATION 

Life is full of ups and downs. Nobody has succeeded yet and nobody has failed yet. Everybody is work in progress. 

When we wake everyday, forces and elements of nature has been programmed over the night to work against our rising. If we fail to take heed to Godly principles, success principles, discipline, divine wisdom, and warnings, we will become victim of anti success traps of both men and the devil.

Nabal ignored this and was destroyed by foolishness, Solomon ignored this and died full of regrets, Moses ignored this and lost Canaan to anger, Sampson ignored this and was killed by Delilah; King Uzziah ignored this and lost purpose to pride; etc. All these great men were overtaken and ruined by success.

"Take heed" or "be careful" is a divine instruction we should never take lightly. We must continually be holy, vigilance, courageous, strong, intentional, diligence and humble. Anybody can fall when he feels he has arrived or there's nothing.

Never take anything for granted. Little foxes can cause mighty down fall. Take heed!

AFFIRMATION 

I don't take anything for granted. I take heed!

 PRAYERS

Father, help me to be vigilant and humble in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE: FALL AND BOUNCE

PROVERBS  24:16  

For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

MEDITATION

Fall is fall no matter the height or depth or circumstance. The size and impact is a matter of your mentality and people's opinion. If the fall didn't kill you, don't allow thinking, regrets, despair and not forgiving yourself to kill you. Everybody has fallen before. Don't allow people make yours look exceptional. What matters is if you see yourself as a student, casualty or victim.

Most times it's not the mistake nor internal worries that kill us but the anxiety of what people will say or how people will react. Until we stop being an echo of others opinion, we will continually be the errors in others opinion.

Nobody will forgive yourself for you and nobody will rise and move on for you. If you don't take responsibility for your rising, you will become a liability for your falling. He that is down need fear not fall nor scared of height. Arise, dust yourself and move.

Get ready for a take off. You fell not failed. Bounce back better and higher.

AFFIRMATION 

Whenever I fall, I bounced back better and higher.

 PRAYERS

Father, I received the spirit of discernment and brokeness in Jesus name

NIGERIAS NEOCOLONIAL MENTALITY

NIGERIANS NEOCOLONIALISM MENTALITY: AIR PEACE ISI-AGU COSTUME

Atimes I wondered aloud who has "bewitched us" in the words of Paul the Apostle to the Galatian church. How did we come to this level of mental and intellectual decadence and depravity? How did we come to prefer foreign culture to ours?

The whites gave us political independence but continue to mentally colonise us. The seed of NEOCOLONIALISM they sowed has grown into a mighty forest infecting and affecting every facet and industry in Nigeria and Africa in general. It has continually relegated our culture, customs, norms and values to the background and portray them as inferior. There's need for the government and other stakeholders to put all hands on deck to ensure that this abnormality is corrected and urgent process enacted for a journey back to our roots.

Why will the we call suit formal wear and call our traditional attire casual wear; Why would the church enforce traditional wedding and white wedding instead of priestly blessings in place of white wedding when white wedding is the white man's traditional marriage, Why is our education system still using English as L1 when all advanced countries in the world are teaching in their languages(Britain, America, France, Russia, China, Japan, India etc), why will a white expertriate be paid more and given more preference than their Nigerian counterpart in their own country, why do we preach tourism even when the tourist guide is showcasing another culture in his dress code, and why would we foolishly rebuke air peace for her crew traditional ISI-AGU dress code and not rebuke Emirate Airlines crew for their religious and traditional attire of hijab? The entertainment industry is the most and worst affected. Pursuit of profit over values has seen the proliferation of the industry with diverse strange attitudes that are strange and toxic to our society. Thank God for certain stations and programmers that still upholds our traditional, customary, cultural values and norms.

When a people see nothing good in what they have, others will join hand to abuse what they have. When a people continually celebrate other culture above theirs, they are indirectly making their culture insignificant. In a world of today  that tourism is money, why on earth do we subject our mind to such neocolonial depravity.

I celebrate with Air Peace for their ingenuity and boldness to make a difference.  Other enterprise and industries should emulate such worthy feat and example. Until we celebrate what we have, they will never become celebrities. Until we intentionally advertised what we have, it will continue to be local. There's need to enshrine in our consciousness and interactions this conscious exposure of our various cultures in all our local and international outings and business.

1 CORINTHIANS  10:11 

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

MEDITATION

Falling is an unintentional and momentarily drop in our walking practice in the school of life. It happens as a lesson of growth, development and warnings.  If we fail to learn from them, we failed to grow from them. Falling is not failing.

It will be considered an unwise act or decision If we fall again where we fell yesterday; if we fall and accept defeat, if we mock at others that has fallen;  if we fall where we saw others fell;  and if we wait for somebodys encouragement to rise again.

Everyone learnt to walk, run and fly by walking, falling and rising to walk again. Living is a practice not a sentence and practice makes perfect but sentence makes conviction. A man that did something and fall is better than a man that wish something and  did nothing.

Be wise, bold and intentional. Don't be afraid of fall, neither fell in vain nor mock at others falling. Falling is practice. Fall don't fail.

AFFIRMATION 

I fell not failed. I bounce when I fall.

 PRAYERS

Father, I received the spirit of boldness and might to be strong and courageous in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE: DON'T BE TOO GOOD

ECCLESIASTES  7:16 

Be careful that you do not kill yourself. That might happen if you try to be too good or too wise. (EEV)

MEDITATION

Be good to people but don't be over good. Keep everyone at the same level they keep you.  No matter what you do for the wicked, an ingrate and a fool, they will never see it because of their perversed heart, misplaced priority and lack of understanding of goodness and kindness.

If you don't define the terms and reference of every relationship you are into, you will be defiled, devalued, used and abused as a slave or fool.  Give unto everyone respect, attention, love, commitment and sacrifice in the same proportion they give unto you.

Relationship is a choice not coerced. Never forced a relationship, don't die where your sacrifice will not be appreciated, and don't be in a relationship out of emotion, pity or sentiments. Lies, violence, injustice and abused in relationship is wickedness to avoid and not trial to endure nor temptation to overcome.

Don't waste your investment where your interest is not celebrated, Give unto everyone as they give unto you. The world is now a jungle and life is a warfare. Be as wise as a serpent. Don't allow anyone take advantage of you. Be good not foolish.

AFFIRMATION 

I fall where I will be picked not where I will be trashed. 

 PRAYERS

Father, endue me with the spirit of discernment and wisdom  in Jesus name

ECCLESIASTES  3:11  

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

MEDITATION 

In the school of life, there are things to learn, enjoy, endure, despise and overcome. Disappointment is one the lessons to learn and endure. Disappointment means to failure to meet expectations or hope. 

There are three things in disappointment; first because the disappointment is not what, when  and how we wanted it does not make it useless. All things work together for good. Secondly the person we are looking up to is also in need. He might be willing to help but helpless and handicapped. And thirdly God supplies need not wants or lust or greed. We should not asked amiss.

Wisdom demand we should not be offended in disappointment neither look down on God's promises.  Disappointment does not mean God is not working; but rather it means we are not seeing what God is doing. It is not always God says yes and now; He also says wait, tomorrow and no. The foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men.

Whatever and however things are, be joyful in hope, strong and patient in faith. Hope maketh not ashamed and our expectations shall not be cut off. God is good and faithful.

AFFIRMATION 

Whatever and however things are,  my God is good and faithful.

 PRAYERS

Father, endue me with joy and patience to wait on you in Jesus name

SCHOOL OF LIFE: HAPPINESS VS JOY

HABAKKUK  3:17 

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:  3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

MEDITATION 

Happiness is when we are excited because of a favourable disposition but joy is when we are excited because we know God cannot lie. Happiness is motivational while joy is intentional.

If we continue to wait for someone or something to push and start us before we get excited, we will soon expire. The world will not get better neither will the hearts of men but it shall be well with the righteous and in all these things, we shall continue to be more than  conquerors. Don't allow the devil to corrupt or steal your joy nor allow circumstances to determine your disposition.

Joy is not the absence of trials and temptations but the power to endure trial and overcome temptations. The joy of the Lord is our strength. 

When we know these things and do them, Jesus said "happy are we"

Rejoice in the Lord again I say rejoice.

April is full of joy.

AFFIRMATION 

I am joy powered. I triumph over trials and temptations.

Father, anoint me with oil of joy in Jesus name
