 READINESS

MATTHEW 25.10 

"But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. (NIV)

MEDITATION

Readiness is to be prepared spiritually, physically or mentally for an action, opportunity or expectation.

If we wait until when it's convenient, we will be waiting for the rest of our lives.

If we wait for the expectations before we are ready, it will meet us unprepared.

We cannot become what we want by remaining as we are; we will become what we want by preparing for what we are expecting.. 

Success requires daily preparedness;

Get ready

REVELATION  4:1  

After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

MEDITATION

It's good to go up but it matters who's calling you to come up; how well you heard the call and the purpose of his calling you.

The personality, height and plans of your caller towards you will determine the range your eyes will see and the purpose your calling will fulfill.

When the Most High God calls you up, you become the most high son. Don't call yourself up; don't be in a haste;  don't copy others; wait on God in all things. 

When your time comes, your door will be opened and no man will be able shut it.

AFFIRMATION

Am following the most high God. Am a most high son.

PRAYERS

Father give me grace to wait on you in everything  in Jesus name

MEDITATION

Your vision and understanding determines your direction in destiny. It matters your sight factor.

If you look around, you will find miserable comforters;

If you look down, you will be discouraged;

If you look back, you will become a pillar of salt;

If you look up, you will go up. 

Promotion comes from no other direction but God alone. It takes the touch of God for the hand of man to touch another man.

Look up and you will go up!

AFFIRMATION

I look up to God. Am going higher everyday!

Father give me courage to look up to you at all times  in Jesus name

MEDITATION

Men naturally don't like to another man growing up to their own status in life. That's why they reserve opportunities mostly for their families, allies and the highest bidder.

Let's be careful of pursuing after men for promotion. It comes genuinely from God alone.

If a man lift you up, a man will push or pull you down;

If you lift yourself up, anything can pull or push you down;

When God lift you up, no man or nothing can push or pull you down.

Look up to God. It's only him that can touch a man to lift you up.

AFFIRMATION

God is my lifter. No mam can push me down.

How forcible are right words! but what doth your arguing reprove?

MEDITATION

No matter how corrupt the world is, a man that speaks the right word is loved.The right word at the right time is the answer to all life's problem. Bible calls it words of enforcement.

Don't be in a haste to speak; ensure what you are about to say is not just correct but is what the occasion demands at that moment.

Let your speech everytime transmit integrity, assurance, hope, courage and love. When you speak right, you speak love.

Mind your language.

LEVITICUS 19:16  

Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.

MEDITATION

Integrity and trust are scares commodity in our society today. People are now given to sudden change and revealing others secret for immediate gain. Beware of people who:

Reveals others secrets to you

Spread false and malicious news about others

Are gossip and spread rumours

Knows too much about others

Can't seat in one place.

Meddle into others affairs.

Are busybodies

Going up and down is the devil's duty not man. Don't betray another's trust neither bewitched others with your tongue. Betrayers are destroyers. 

Be disciplined and faithful. Mind your language.

AFFIRMATION

I am a man of integrity. Am not a busybody.

Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.   

MEDITATION

Words are like oil; when they're spilled, no matter how you clean them, they will still leave stains on the floor. A hasty tongue is a heavy tort about to happen.

Be quick to hear but slow to speak. Be careful with matters you don't have full details and understanding or have not heard from both parties. When you are in a haste to reply, you will make a lot of waste.

Flee anxiety and zeal without knowledge. Speak to communicate not to be heard. Speaking is communication not competition. Am sorry enforces peace not relieved pain.

Mind your language.

PSALMS 140:11  

Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.  

MEDITATION

Words are seeds. When we speak, we sow them into people's life and circumstances. Nobody like evil seed around them because the harvest will be catastrophic and detrimental to the them.

A bridled tongue is a good servant but an indiscipline tongue is a world of evil. Beware of people given to gossip, blackmail, insinuation, backbiting, and blasphemy. Their tongue is viperous and venomous. As it sting and poison others close to you, one day it will sting and poison you closest to it.

A wholesome tongue is a tree of life. Let your tongue bring health and healing to all around you.

AFFIRMATION

I keep my tongue from evil and my soul from trouble.

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.   

MEDITATION

You might never be oppotuned to say everything about yourself but how you present your  speech will say everything about you. Our words are the mirror of our attitude. 

Speaking with arrogance might make a sensitive and sensible word loose it's worth. Pride is a bad messenger that deprives it's master of opportunities and glory and pushes his master into a pit.

 Be mindful of your tone and body language when presenting or defending a matter. A soft and gentle spirit is irresistible.

Humility is a responsibility not a fruit of the spirit. Garnish your speech and gestures with meekness.

AFFIRMATION

I resist the temptation of a haughty spirit. I lead and serve with a humble spirit

PRAYERS

Father help me to to humble myself in Jesus name, amen.

But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.  

MEDITATION

Truth will cost you nothing and is very valuable but lies will cost you everything and is worth nothing.

Don't allow temporary gain or pleasure lure you to speak a lie that will tarnish your image and destroy your reputation for life. Truth is your letter of recommendation in your presence and absence.

No matter how long lies tarries, it shalll be stopped one day with dire consequences. 

Mind your language.

AFFIRMATION

I can do all things. I overcome temptation to lie.

PRAYERS

Father help me to overcome every lying temptation today in Jesus name, amen.

MEDITATION

Words are brands; words have value; words carry powers; words should be carefully crafted before they are made public.

Speeches should be proper, edifying, acceptable, morally or socially correct, healthy and suitable for the specified purpose. 

If we can't speak like the sun, let's speak as a reflection of the moon. It's better to shine like the moon than to be a fallen star.

Let our words stand out for good.

MEDITATION

There's nothing as perfect as a thing done at the right time. Words should not be an exception.

Speaking is not a competition neither should it give rise to commotion; It's a communication. Every word should be spoken as at when due to make it profitable to both the speaker and the hearer..

God hates chaos and confusion. Let us be orderly with our tongue. Let every word be spoken in it season.

MEDITATION

Our communication is a function of our company. Why waste energy and resources with touts. Whatever conversation that does not assist you to go forward in destiny is an unprofitable talk.

Be cautious of company of those that are not going to your direction. You cannot travel in two directions at the same time.

Don't permit anyone waste your time with unprofitable talk. Flee the company of destiny touts.

AFFIRMATION

I am busy. I don't have time for unprofitable talk.

 Proverbs 12:25... Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.   

MEDITATION

At everytime in our communication, we either make people good, bad or indifferent. Where do we fall in as children of God?

The golden rule of life should be what we wish others for ourselves, same we should do for others. The weight of concerns, conflicts and confusion from the environment in the heart of man is already heavy; let us not multiply it with bad words.

Let's seasoned our words with good before talking. Be a good word agent. Think good; talk good.

AFFIRMATION

I think good of others all the time; I talk good to others all the time
